Since 2018 OHB Czechspace, located in Brno, Czech Republic, has been a member of the Space and Technology group OHB SE, one of the space industry leaders in Europe. OHB Czechspace is a part of Space Systems business segment.

Our enthusiastic, diverse and growing OHB team is looking for a Sales Planner and Analyst who sees his/her future in sales/business development. This position will primarily support the OHB Group Sales and Business Development as part of the Sales Operations department and will be based in Brno, Czech Republic.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Performance Management:
-    Prepare and support sales progress reviews, evaluating the effectiveness of sales campaigns and capture plans, and identifying areas for refinement.
-    Prepare regular sales reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key insights and performance metrics.
-    Track and analyze sales performance against targets and milestones, identifying areas of success and areas for improvement.
-    Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.

2. Sales Planning and Forecasting:
-    Collaborate with sales teams to develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets.
-    Assist in setting sales targets based on market insights, historical data, and business objectives.
-    Evaluate sales pipeline and provide insights to optimize conversion rates and maximize revenue and profitability.

3. Sales Intelligence and Strategy Support:
-    Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
-    Monitor sales volume and conduct variance analysis to understand deviations from targets and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
-    Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities in the market.

4. Process Improvement:
-    Continuously evaluate sales processes and systems (e.g., Sales Force) to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
-    Develop and implement best practices to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and drive sales effectiveness.
-    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sales data with other business functions, such as finance, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications:

-    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
-    Proven experience in sales analysis, financial planning, or related roles (at least 2-5 years).
-    Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
-    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
-    Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate data into business strategies and initiatives.
-    Willingness to travel.
-    Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
-    Experience in preparing and leading sales progress reviews or similar presentations is preferred.
-    Familiarity with sales forecasting techniques and methodologies.
-    Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
-    Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
-    Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
-    Experience in a consulting firm or similar environment is considered advantageous.
