Project Manager (Space Industry)

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our OHB Czechspace team.
Job description:
- Planning and control of space projects including financial and contractual management
- Coordination and leadership of the internal project teams to achieve the project objectives
- Communication with industrial customers and the European Space Agency including progress reporting of the projects
- Acting as a main responsible for procurement-related activities within projects: Initiation, coordination, implementation and monitoring of the procurement of engineering services and hardware from the contract implementation till the delivery of hardware
- Management of existing suppliers and subcontractors
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers & partners
- Lead of proposal campaigns in the frame of project acquisition activities, coordination of proposal team incl. the establishment of related project planning, financial and management documentation
We require:
- University degree - preferably in Technical Engineering or related area
- 3-5 years of project management experience (space industry is advantageous)
- Willingness to take a responsibility and work independently
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Self-confidence, professional communication, and negotiation skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Self-motivation and strong team spirit
